Azov-City is historically the first, most advanced and most popular Russian gambling zone. its construction required 2 thousand hectares of land in two adjacent areas of the Rostov Region and Krasnodar region. Oracle Casino, the first Azov-City casino started its work in January 2010, and a few months later Shambhala Casino, the second casino in Azov-City gambling zone, welcomed its first players. In October 2013 Nirvana Casino was opened in Azov-City.
Despite the decision adopted in 2015 on liquidation of the Azov-City in connection with the foundation of a new zone in Sochi gambling zone, all the Azov-City casinos keep working normally. At present, this gambling zone is the most advanced and largest of all existing Russian gambling zones.
