Amaya has completed the acquisition of the Rational Group, making a final payment of $ 47.5 million and associated fees totalling $ 870,000.

Rational Group, the operator of the PokerStars and Full Tilt brands, was originally sold to Amaya in August 2014 for $ 4.9 billion. Under the terms of the deal, the first part of the payment of $ 200 million was transferred in November 2016, two more installments worth $ 75 million each were transferred in February and April 2017, respectively.

In the statement published on the occasion of the settlement completion, Amaya stated that it had used cash received from PokerStars and Full Tilt transactions to transfer the remaining $ 47.5 million to the Rational Group.
