Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), the Netherlands’ gambling regulator, has imposed a six figure fine on Trustfulgames, a Malta-licensed gambling company for offering its services to Dutch residents. Trustfulgames will need to pay $180,000  for allowing Dutch players to bet on tiplix.com, one of its sites, without having a local gambling license.

KSA said that they have took an action against the operator as it was offering unauthorised services on a foreign territory where they don’t have a license.

The first sign of violation of law for the KSA was the fact that tiplix.com has a Dutch-language version and offers online casino games and sports betting services.

Back in December 2016, Kansspelautoriteit announced increasing penalties for illegal  gambling activities in the Dutch online market. From January 2017 any operator providing online gambling services outside its regulations would be fined up to € 820,000.
