The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has fined 4 casinos $82,500 for various breaches. The penalty decisions was made by the PGCB’s meeting on November 16. The fines was imposed on the following casino:
The Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, powered by Holdings Acquisitions Co. LP, was fined $30,000 for holding poker tournaments with unauthorized rules and for failing to prevent underage gambling;
The SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia, which is owned and operated by SugarHouse HSP Gaming, LP, was fined $22,500 for Board’s Self-Exclusion List violations;
The Sands Casino Resort in Northampton County and the Mount Airy Casino Resort in Monroe County were fined for violations involving the play of table games. The casino operators, Sands Bethworks Gaming, LLC and Mount Airy #1, LLC, was ordered to pay $22,500 and $7,500 respectively.
