Sobranie Casino, the flagship of the Amber gambling zone in the Kaliningrad region, was one of the locations to host the 16-episode TV movie “Tiger’s Yellow Eye”, which tells about the development of the amber business in Russia. Valery Saparin, Marketing Director of Uni Management LLC reported about this.
“Shooting scenes in the casino will take two days. The series is produced by Igor Tolstunov’s production company and commissioned by First Channel”, Saparin said.
The TV project authors aimed to film on the territory of the Kaliningrad region for 42 days. Shooting scenes in the casino was started after the completion of filming on the Curonian Spit.
The film’s director is Mark Gorobets, the main roles in the film were performed by Pavel Priluchny and Katerina Spitsa. The premiere of the series is scheduled for late 2017 or early 2018.
The Kaliningrad region is involved in the project of financial rebates in the film industry, so many production centers are interested in filming in this region.
